Union Adds Loras Winger to Roster

Union Dubuque F.C. are happy to announce the signing of Raudel Fierro to the club’s roster, starting for the 2018 season.

Manager Jon Denham praised Fierro’s mental and technical abilities, saying “Raudel brings a strong understanding of the tactical side of the game as well as a great technical foundation to our team. He'll use both of those things to bolster our team and frustrate the opposition.”

Fierro is currently a Junior at Loras College, where he is a student in the international studies program, as well as an athlete on Head Coach Dan Rothert’s Duhawk men’s soccer team. When he’s not studying or practicing, Fierro serves as the Assistant Director of Coaching for the Key City Soccer Association here in Dubuque.

Fierro expressed his excitement over being part of the Union’s inaugural squad, noting “I’m excited to introduce Dubuque and its surrounding communities to a higher level of play. I’m honored to be a part of this team and excited for the future of the club.”

Union Dubuque will contest their first league match on the road in Chicago on April 28th, with the home opener scheduled for May 19th against the Des Moines Menace. Season passes as well as individual game tickets are now on sale.
