Statement From Club President Cliff Conrad Regarding Match on June 29 vs. Cedar Rapids
To our Union family:
Thank you so much for your support this season. We sincerely apologize to all fans who had planned on watching our match tonight vs. Cedar Rapids Inferno at the Rock Bowl or online via our MyCujoo live-stream. Over the last two seasons we have taken great pride in the professionalism we are able to exhibit on game day. Tonight, we were unable to provide that experience due to an unfortunate misunderstanding with our home field at Loras College.
We would like to thank those fans who came out all season, and especially tonight, to see the Union play. Special thanks to those who made the trek over to Clarke College to watch the guys play there. We couldn’t and can’t do this without your support.
To our generous sponsors, thank you for believing in Union Dubuque and what we are trying to do in our community. Your support is crucial to our continued existence and success. What happened tonight is not consistent with the standards we hold ourselves to as a club, and for that we apologize.
Last of all, but perhaps most of all, thank you to the volunteers and operations team who were able to pull this together and manage the situation with such skill. I appreciate everything you do beyond what I’m able to express in words.
Up the Union. Forever Dubuque.
