Community Soccer Night Welcomes Out-of-town Soccer Fans

Union Dubuque F.C.'s July 7th clash with Aurora Borealis SC will officially be Community Soccer Night at Dalzell Field. The club welcomes all non-Dubuque residents of the Tri-State area and beyond to join us for a fun evening, celebrating the local soccer scene beyond the city limits.

President Cliff Conrad reflected on the importance of local soccer, saying "The heart of the game of soccer is at the local level. For years, local youth soccer has been on the ascendancy and is now a major part of youth sports, particularly in smaller communities. We want to celebrate those smaller communities that contribute so much to the game as a whole in our country."

The night's festivities will include contests for youth, as well as halftime soccer games on the pitch at Dalzell. In addition, all youth players wearing a jersey from a non-Dubuque soccer association will receive free admission to the game, when accompanied by an adult.
